Fitting Guide

Find your specs at home in about two minutes.

You do not need a fitting studio to order a putter that fits. Six questions, one at a time, and you walk away with a complete spec sheet you can open straight in the 3D builder. No account, no email. We confirm every spec before we cut, so this is your starting point, not a final exam.

Six questions. One complete putter.

One question at a time, a couple of minutes in total. Nothing is locked in — you can change every one of these in the builder afterwards.

Step 1 of 60% answered

How tall are you?

Why this matters: length decides your posture, and posture decides everything else. Too long and you stand up off the ball, too short and you hunch over it.

How do you stand over the ball?

Why this matters: lie is the angle the shaft leaves the head. When it matches your setup the sole sits flat, so the face points where you aimed it instead of a hair left or right.

Not sure is a real answer. 70° is the most common starting lie; we check it with you before anything is cut.

What helps you aim?

Why this matters: the sightline is how your eyes find the target line. The right one is the one you stop noticing.

How do you like the ball to feel off the face?

Why this matters: honestly, not much — this changes the sound and the feel at impact and nothing else. Both patterns roll the ball the same. Pick the one you would rather listen to for four hours.

Which one reads right to you?

Why this matters: you will look at this more than anything else in the bag. Matte does one functional thing — it cuts glare in bright sun. The rest is purely taste, and taste is a good enough reason.

Make it yours

Why this matters: it does not, to the putt. It is the part people keep the putter for. Skip it and you get exactly the same putter for $399.

Signature and artwork engraving exist too, but they need a file from you — pick those in the builder.

How It Works

What each number means.

The walkthrough above is built on the four numbers below. If you want to understand what it picked, or measure yourself by hand for a tighter fit, here is the detail. Most golfers roll the putter 30 to 40 times a round, so getting these right is the highest leverage change in the bag.

The four fitting numbers

01Length

Length sets your posture

Length is the first number to lock in because everything else is measured from it. Too long and you stand too upright with the toe in the air. Too short and you hunch and crowd the ball.

Do this. Set up in your normal putting stance with your arms hanging relaxed under your shoulders. Have someone measure from the crease of your wrist straight down to the floor. That length is your starting point. You can also lay your current putter flat and measure from the top of the grip to the bottom of the sole.

02Lie

Lie squares the face

Lie is the angle the shaft rises from the head. When it matches you, the sole sits flat and the face returns square at impact. When it is off, the face points slightly left or right before you even move.

Do this. Sole your current putter as you address a ball on a hard flat surface. If the toe lifts off the ground the lie is too upright, if the heel lifts it is too flat. A sole that sits flush is the goal. Note which way it leans so we can correct it.

03Loft

Loft controls the roll

A putter needs a few degrees of loft to lift the ball out of its small resting depression and start it rolling cleanly. How you hold your hands at address changes the loft you actually deliver.

Do this. Check your hands at address. Pressed well ahead of the ball you take loft away, hanging behind it you add loft. Most players sit close to neutral, which is why this head is built at a fixed 3 degrees. If your hands live a long way forward, tell us in the order notes and we will talk it through before we build.

04Weight

Head weight tunes your speed

Weight is feel and speed control. Too heavy and the ball jumps off the face harder than the effort suggests, too light and your tempo gets quick. Green speed matters here too.

Worth knowing, not worth choosing. We build one head, and it ships at a single standard weight that suits normal club green speeds. There is nothing to pick here — it is in the guide because it explains why a putter that felt right on one course can feel heavy on another. If weight is genuinely fighting you, say so and we will talk before we build.

05 / Stroke Type

The finger test.

This one is not a choice you make with us — we build a single head. It takes ten seconds and tells you whether that head is the right one for the way you naturally swing it.

Rest the shaft of your current putter across one finger near the balance point and let it settle. Where the face ends up tells you how your stroke wants the head to be balanced. Ours is a blade with a single-bend center neck, which hangs the toe and suits a stroke that arcs.

Face points to the sky
Face balanced. You swing it straight back and through. Our blade is not the natural match — worth knowing before you order, and we would rather tell you now.
Toe hangs partway down
Mid hang. A slight arc, the most common stroke there is. Our head fits this well.
Toe hangs straight down
Strong toe hang. A pronounced arc. This is exactly what a toe-hang blade is for.

One More Thing

Aim is the hardest part. Your sightline is a fitting choice too.

If you tend to set up aimed left or right of your target, several parallel stripes give your eyes more to line up against than a single one. And if lines make you fuss, a clean top is a legitimate answer. Pick the sightline that matches how your eyes find the hole, not just the one that looks good.

No Pressure

We check it before we cut.

These numbers get you a build you can trust. They are a strong starting point, not a guess you are stuck with. Once you order, your confirmation arrives right away with the full build, and if a number looks like it will fight your stroke you hear it from us before any metal moves. Send the length and lie of a putter you already like and we will use it as a baseline.
